Leander High School is proud to offer the only IB Diploma Programme in Leander ISD, which was established in 1999. The International Baccalaureate organization verifies IB students’ achievement by a battery of three-to-five hour examinations in each course area. Additionally, each IB diploma candidate will perform 150 community/action/service hours and complete and extended essay in an academic area of interest during the junior and senior years of school.
